Here are the final photos from my photoshoot... I will be selecting final photos soon.

Progress Report (Front Cover)

This is my close to final draft of the front cover, I know what other changes must be made, but for now I will be focusing solely on getting my other page work (e.g. contents, double page spread) completed.

Front Cover Update

After taking hard reference, I think I'm close to the final stages of my front cover, this is it at the moment.

There are a few minimal changes that I'd like to make, for instance

• I wish to implement a gradient to the title bar,
• a price in the title bar.
• Make the title larger.
• Take new Photos for the cover so there is direct adress and perhaps a prop to present the electronic music scene.
• Light lazers, to present the electronic scene (Similar to my style model below).
• implement more logos around the front cover.
• a barcode.
• and lastly try placement of my image around the headline.

I am now going to continue work on my contents page, whilst keeping this house style and I will post updates.

Camera Booking

Because of the mess up with my photos from my first photoshoot, I have chosen to re-do this photoshoot, this time with a better idea of costume, props, set, etc.

This will allow me to take into consideration more angles and photo placement that will fit with the cover template that I have made. I will need the same props of Laptop, Headphones, and some possible lights/glowstick to use on my subject.

My model will be the same as the previous photoshoot.
I have booked a camera off my teacher with tri-pod for this weekend to finish the photos.

Until then I will be working on my double page spread and front cover.

Electronic Arena (Work In progress Cover)

Here is a preview of one of the designs I've worked on for my magazine's front cover. I like this design as it can adapt well to the branding of an online magazine as well as a physical print.

There are obvious things from reference of style models I need to import (A.k.a - barcodes, other cover titles, Main featured artist photos)

  

My main style model for this magazine will be the online magazine 'EDM Weekly' though I'll be taking reference from 'DJ MAG' and 'NME'. I want to make one version based on this magazine cover below and one version with more coverlines and such...

My cover photo will try to be brighter, as I'm trying to attract a younger audience.
